How do I participate?

Walnut Lake Estates Sub 2 is a neighborhood association that’s managed by a group of volunteer board members with the primary goal of maintaining and improving our unique and incredible community beach.

Attending our General Membership Meetings is an important way to be involved in your community. There are 2 General Membership Meetings a year, one in Fall and one in Spring. During these meetings, the state of affairs for the association is discussed, events are relayed, budgets are reviewed and planned, ongoing issues are resolved, and new ideas are heard. As an association member of this community, please plan to attend these meetings so that your voice is heard and you stay informed.

There is an unaffiliated Facebook group of current and past WLE2 members that is not associated with the Association or its Board of Directors.

I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY GATE KEY. What do i do?

E-mail WLE2invoices@gmail.com with key issues or to purchase new or additional keys. Please keep in mind that it typically takes 2 weeks to process new keys or activate keys that were not submitted in your annual renewal forms. Plan accordingly and please be patient while our volunteer team helps resolve issues.
 

How do i reserve space for a party/event?

The clubhouse caretaker is in charge of all scheduling for private events. For parties of more than 12, there is a $75 fee and a $50 cleaning deposit. Refer the to Private Party Policy in the document section for complete details. Also, please consider using the caretaker to cater your event!

There’s an issue at the beach. who do i contact?

If it’s related to grounds-keeping, park equipment or docks, clubhouse maintenance or any other general maintenance, e-mail our Board: WLE2board@gmail.com

For nighttime immediate safety issues, contact the West Bloomfield Police Non-Emergency line: 248-975-9200.

For emergencies, call 9-1-1-. Beach address is 5380 Putnam Drive, West Bloomfield.
 

How do I pay my dues?

Email WLE2INVOICES@gmail.com to inquire about settling past dues. New invoices will be sent out late winter for 2024-2025 Membership. Dues are due April 1. Late fee of $25 for payments between April 1 and Spring GMM. After Spring GMM, fee increases to $50.
